Cutie Pie

Christian is at a fun stage in many ways. For instance he loves to put things on his head. One of his tricks is to put his ball on his head and then try to catch it. Christian is starting to understand more what I am saying to him. He now can wave to say "hi" or " bye".

Christian putting a wash rag on his head.

We got bored and decided to put a diaper on our heads. I couldn't take my own picture so Christian was lucky to help capture this fun moment.

Trying on daddy's snow hat.

His first real hat! Does he keep it on? Not a chance, I was lucky to get this picture.

I now can ask for a kiss. Sometimes I get a kiss and other times Christian has other things on his mind like basketball!

Christian still really likes his thumb. Although he only sucks on it, if he is tired, hungry, or if I say "no" to him.

Another thumb sucking picture. Here he was tired and also because I told him that I was done giving him rides.

Christian is starting to get into more trouble. Here he stood in the laundry basket to get something he wanted.

I got bored so I decide to put Chris' tie on Christian.

My Sister Melanie

My younger sister Melanie is having a baby. She could have her baby any day now. Chris and I thought it would be fun to post a poll of when Melanie is going to have her baby? As of today she is dilated to a 2 and 75% effaced. We are so excited for cute baby girl Sollami to arrive!!!

I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home!

Christian just loves when Chris gets home. Christian is starting to know when Chris is home by hearing the garage door shutting. He will wait at the gate for Chris to walk up the stairs so he can play with his daddy. These are some of the things they like to do together: basketball, catching the ball, practicing going down the stairs, and wrestling.

I pinned my dad!

Dad has me in a hold that I can't get out.

Let's get ready to wrestle!

I help my dad feel better.

Let the Big Boy Eat

I wanted to share with everyone, how fun breakfast, lunch, and dinner is for Christian. I for one am excited when meal time isn't so messy. Although I have to say Christian can do some funny tricks while eating. Recently, he enjoyed putting his cup on top of his head and balancing it. Grace school here we come!

Christian is starting to not like bibs as much. He use to just leave them a lone, now he will try to pull it off, if I don't give him something to play with.

Snow Camping

I went snow camping with some of the scouts in our ward. Honestly, I was scared to death, but all in all it turned out to be okay. I didn't sleep to well, but I was not cold during the night, so that was a plus. We slept in snow caves that had been constructed the weekend before. Most of the structures had picnic table skeletons; the scouts and leaders dug out the snow from under the tables at the camp ground. I really wasn't looking forward to going, and participating in the scouting program hasn't been my favorite thing, but I think this outing was a turning point for the better. Here some pictures of the structures that were used during the camp:

Christian has skills!!!

Christian has recently started playing with balls. Heather started this by rolling the ball across our coffee table to him. Christian will grab the ball and sometimes roll it back. Sometimes he just holds it and now he bounces the ball off the coffee table. I wonder if he is trying to dribble. We took him to my nephew's basketball game this past weekend, and after we got back he has been doing this ever since. This could just be coincidence but nonetheless it is very entertaining to watch. A few days ago, just for fun, I tossed Christian the ball, only from like a foot a way, and to my surprise, he caught it! We repeated this several times and he caught it more than once, so it is not a fluke. I was so impressed! Here are some videos of his new found skills:
