Easter
We went to Chris parent's house for Easter. We had a lot of fun and didn't want to come home. Here are some way cute pictures of my two handsome men. I got this cute church outfit for Christian at BABY R US. The shirt fits him pretty good but the pants are way too big.
Christian likes to hold on to Chris's arm like he is holding on for dear life. We both think it is so cute when he does this.

I love this picture of Christian. I wanted to get a picture of just him but that wasn't in Christian's plan.

For your Birthday Dear, I shall pass the test........
Today Heather, Christian and I went with my parents to St. George so I could take the dreaded Novell(050-686) test that I have been struggling with for sometime now. We arrived at the campus of Dixie State College and I went to find the testing center. I found it but they didn't even unlock the building until just before 2:00 pm and my test was scheduled for that time exactly. I worried that for some reason I wouldn't be able to take the test, that the testing center wouldn't be open because it is Easter weekend. I had the lovely experience of waiting in line behind a bunch of college students. So I started the test later than expected but actually ended up finishing a little early. I finally passed the test!!! Heather said this was her best birthday present, second to Christian of course. I am glad I passed so then I wouldn't have to be in a grumpy mood the rest of our time down here.
After the test, we ate Pizza with Rob and Lori and their family at one of St. George's parks. After eating and visiting for awhile, We walked around the Temple there. It was such a beautiful day, in more ways than one. On our way back to Parowan, we stopped to visit my Grandma in Cedar City. Below are the pictures of our "post test passing" adventures.

Fun Times with Christian
I went with Kari to Baby R US. I decided that is a dangerous place for me to shop. I saw many outfits that I wanted to buy Christian. Christian had cousin born on March 13, 2008. We are excited to have two new boy babies. I was so excited that I bought this outfit for Luke and Christian. I think Christian looks so cute in it but of course I think everything looks so cute.
Here is a video of Christian playing ride the horse to Boston. Christian seems to like it.

Welcome to Baby Land
My sister came over today to help me decorate Christian's room. Melanie might not have nunchuck skills, computer hacking skills, or bow hunting skills but she can decorate like no other. I am going to show off her work.
Christian's dresser with the diaper cake Lori made and the picture Suzette gave us. Melanie drew out room plans of how we could rearrange Christian's room. We decide this was the best way.
Christian's Monkey Crib and wall decoration. Melanie made all the decorations by hand. True inspiration. We all ask how she does it.

Baby Shower
Heather's Mom, Julie was nice enough to host a baby shower for Christian yesterday. Many people attended, including Jon and Veronica and their family from Las Vegas. It was fun because we hadn't seen them in a long time. I was very frustrated when I discovered that I didn't bring our memory card for our camera. Luckily our camera has internal memory and a picture resolution suited for emailing pics. So I am hoping these pictures turn out okay. A special thanks to Melanie for the decor, and Cheree for the food, and Sarah for the invitations. Thanks to everyone for everything. You have all been so great to help us!!!!! Also, thanks to everyone on Chris' side of the family for making the trip out to eat at our place after the shower.

Fresh Videos........get 'em while they are hot!!!!!
Today Christian was Daddy's boy. We found out about 9pm last night that our Babysitter had sick kids and so we were not able to find someone to tend him. Since Heather has used up all her paid time off, I took the day to watch him. He was really good for me. I did have to fight with him a little bit to get him to eat but he ate virtually all of the 4oz I fed him both times during the day. I was probably a bad sitter my self because I let Christian sleep from 10:30 until 2:30 while I studied and cleaned. When I was feeding Christian in the afternoon, I almost started crying just noticing how beautiful this little guy is. Most people don't use the word beautiful to describe a baby boy, but I use the term liberally with Christian. Below are some cute videos we did today.
Our little Thumbsucker is so cute!!!

Missing Christian
Christian is with my parents and so Chris and I are missing him. I am missing him so much that I decided to do a new posting. Christian is pretty much the best sleeper. Christian slept through the night again last night. He slept from 10pm to 7:30 and I even had to wake him up. Then Christian had a doctor's appointment and he slept the whole way there.
