Quilts

I'm not posting these quilts to brag. I just wanted to post them because I never thought I could ever do something like this.

This is the first quilt that I completed

I started this quilt before Christian was born because I always thought I would have a girl first. I did most of this quilt within this past month and finished it last night. Our family is having a reunion this weekend and we have to share a talent that we been working on during the year.

Just In!

I wanted to share some cute pictures of Christian of last weekend, when we went to Chris' parents house. kari brought her dog with her and Christian totally loved Zoey. Here is a video of Christian saying "dog".

Christian is trying to get on Zoey. Zoey wasn't too happy with the idea. So needless to say Christian didn't get to ride on Zoey. Christian also tried to pick up Zoey a couple of times. It was kind of funny to watch. Thank goodness Zoey was very nice to Christian.

Christian is really getting good with the ball. He loves to dribble the ball and play soccer.


Christian is starting to talk a little bit but understands a ton. He knows where is head is and also he can find his belly.

Our 6 Year Anniversary Vacation

Chris and I had our six year anniversary on the May 15. Chris took Friday and Monday off to spend time together. We decided to go to Southern Utah and spend time with Chris' family. We came up on Thursday night. On Friday, Chris studied while I chased Christian around the house. Later that night, Chris' parents watched Christian while we went to stay at the Abbey Inn in St. George. We went to dinner at Red Lobster and went shopping then we went to the hotel room. It was so nice just to relax and watch T.V together. On Saturday, we went hiking with Kari and Steven. We decided to go on some hikes that Chris hadn't been to before and that were easy enough for me. My old roommate Michelle had posted on her blog, a hike called Red Hollow. While we were looking into it, we found another hike that we could do also called Spring Hollow. Spring Hollow was suppose to be a water hike but due to drought there was no water. Here are some pictures of beautiful hikes we went on.

On Monday, we decide to take a drive up Kolob Canyon. We went Kolob on our first date together.

Christian's First Easter Egg Hunt!

We decide to do a little Easter egg hunt for Christian. He was more interested in the dogs across the street than Easter egg hunt. After he went to see the doggies than he was able to get more into it. Here are some cute pictures and videos of Easter:

Christian has been totally addicted to clementines. He will go to the fridge when he wants one, and will wait until I open the fridge. I usually have to give him the clementine to get him out of the fridge. He gets really mad when I take it away to peel it. On Saturday, I wanted to see what he would do if I just let him keep it.

Christian is totally a dare devil right now. He does things that scare me to death. This trick is tame to the ones he has been doing lately. He loves to climb up the stove and like to try to jump over the banister.

Christian is at a fun stage in many ways. For instance he loves to put things on his head. One of his tricks is to put his ball on his head and then try to catch it. Christian is starting to understand more what I am saying to him. He now can wave to say "hi" or " bye".

I now can ask for a kiss. Sometimes I get a kiss and other times Christian has other things on his mind like basketball!

Christian still really likes his thumb. Although he only sucks on it, if he is tired, hungry, or if I say "no" to him.

My Sister Melanie

My younger sister Melanie is having a baby. She could have her baby any day now. Chris and I thought it would be fun to post a poll of when Melanie is going to have her baby? As of today she is dilated to a 2 and 75% effaced. We are so excited for cute baby girl Sollami to arrive!!!
